Larry Lucero

Gilbert is our office manager and has over 23 years of experience in insurance. He is responsible for and oversees the day to day operations of our agency. He is dedicated to helping our State Farm customers with all of their insurance needs. Gilbert was raised in Colorado Springs, graduating from Doherty High School. Gilbert loves the outdoors, bicycle riding and landscaping projects, especially if it deals with trees. He participates in side work at the Pikes Peak Center, Broadmoor World Arena and Western Fireworks for the 4th of July shows and the Rocky Mountain Vibes games. He enjoys meeting new people and seeing/ experiencing new things. Gilbert is very involved with his church’s youth programs where he is a Sunday school teacher and helps with the teen programs. Gilbert has three active daughters so there isn’t much free time, but when there is he enjoys watching the Broncos and appreciates history and science fiction. Gilbert’s favorite part of his job is that he loves being able to help people, both in and outside of work. State Farm sells a promise to take care of you if something claim worthy happens. He relishes being able to help people out in their time of need.

Carla is a Colorado Springs native who graduated from Palmer High school. She has been in the insurance industry for 35+ years and over 10 years with our agency. She adores hiking, fishing, reading, and taking her dog for walks. Carla enjoys spending time with her family, she has two married sons and 7 grandchildren. She is also a fan of corn hole, baseball and an outstanding baker. Carla not only takes care of our customer's needs but she also makes sure that our team is using State Farm's systems and technology so we are able to give our customers great service.

CJ has been with our agency for 9 years and with State Farm for 21 years. She is a Colorado native raised in Littleton and she raised her family in Englewood Colorado. She loves to read, travel, and be outdoors as much as possible. She has dogs, a cat, turtle, and rabbit and would love to have a llama someday. CJ has been a youth soccer coach since 2000, she coaches 4, 5 and 6 year olds and truly loves it. She enjoys spending her free time with her 6 grandchildren, being outdoors or watching them play baseball, soccer and football. She enjoys talking to and helping all of our customers get the right coverage to match their insurance needs. Her passion is the claims area and she truly loves to assist customers helping guide them through the claims process with little to no issues.

Ray is a 20+ year Colorado Springs resident that has been with Larry’s team for 6 years. He is licensed in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health. He enjoys the interactions with customers that are created by working at State Farm. Ray serves on the board of the Pikes Peak Bowling Congress and volunteers in Colorado Springs coaching youth bowling. He is an exceptional bowler who is involved in multiple local bowling leagues. Ray is also fluent in sign language and enjoys a good football game! Ray recently published his first children's book Ray the Unstoppable: Tales of the Can-Do kid. He is dedicated to providing excellent service for you and your family everyday.

Jo graduated from Doherty High and the University of Colorado and has been an active member of the Colorado Springs business community. She has been with our agency for 1 year. Prior to joining our team Jo owned her own marketing firm and also worked 5+ years in the El Paso County real estate industry. Jo focuses on our marketing efforts and establishing new business and personal relationships within the Colorado Springs community. Jo enjoys spending time with her husband, son and her dog Crash. She loves birdwatching, gardening, building puzzles and reading. Her primary objective is to provide our customers with insurance that meets their needs and protects their loved ones.

Dom grew up on Long Island, NY and has been here in Colorado Springs for 7 years. He loves it here but misses the ocean. His background is in customer relations, with 3 years in insurance. Dom enjoys being outside, trying new foods, singing, reading, and spending time with his niece and nephews. He is an animal lover too! Dom is passionate about getting to know his customers so they can feel confident all their needs are met.
